My Belief - The Apostles' Creed |
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ His only son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from there He shall come again to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, The Holy Catholic Church, The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) |
God gave Prophet Moses the Ten Commandments on two stone tablets at Mount Sinai. These are the words of God for the mankind to follow:
Footnote |
One day a lawyer asked Jesus, "Which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied, "
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. (That is the summary of the first 4 commandments, our relationship to God.) And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (That is the summary of the remaining 6 commandments, our relationship to others.) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." (Quoted from Matthew 22:36-40)Jesus said, "
Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled." (Matthew 5: 15-18)
