Steps to Salvation

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11: 25-26).

In order to be saved from eternal separation from God and be reconciled to God, you must do the following things:

  1. Acknowledge. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 3:23 & Romans 6:23)
  2. Repent. "…Except you repent (of your sins and wrong-doings), you shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)
  3. Confess. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
  4. Believe. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3: 16)
  5. Receive. "…as many as received Him (Jesus Christ), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believes in His name." (John 1 : 12)
  6. Be Baptized. "He who believes and is baptized shall be saved (from Hell); but He who does not believe shall be condemned." (Matthew 3:11; 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 1:5; 2:38; 8:36-39)
  7. Breaking Bread (Holy Communion). " Then Jesus said to them " Most assuredly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you". (John 6: 53-54, Acts 2:46; 11:23-26)

If we say that we have not sinned then we make God a liar because His Word says all have sinned and fall short of His Glory. “If we confess our sins and unrighteousness, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 NKJV)

The Sinner's Prayer

Let us say this sinner's prayer to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior in order to receive an eternal life, peace of mind, healing from diseases, set free from curses and receive God’s blessings.

"Dear Almighty God, I humbly come before you in the name of your son Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I repent for all my sins committed either by my thoughts, words or deeds against you and others. Lord Jesus, I receive you and invite you to come into my heart to be my Lord and Savior right now. I totally surrender my whole life to your Lordship from this day forth.

I confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe that He came in the flesh (incarnated), crucified and died on the Cross to shed his precious blood for the atonement of my sins, for deliverance from the power of Satan, for redemption from the curse of the law which include diseases, poverty and eternal separation from God.

I believe that Jesus has taken all my sins, curses and diseases on his body, and by his stripes I am healed.

I believe Jesus died and rose again on the third day and is now seated at the right hand of God in the throne in Heaven.

Lord Jesus Christ, please baptize me right now in the name of the Father, and of your name (the Son) and of the Holy Spirit. I am willing and shall partake the breaking of bread with the other Christians in the Church during the Eucharist or Holy Communion service in remembrance of your death till you come again.

All glory, praises and thanks be to God in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
